We are in search of an engineer capable of crafting solutions that withstand sophisticated cyber threats.
As a Cybersecurity Engineer within our team, you will deliver cybersecurity engineering services that align with our client's objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to pinpoint the optimal blend of tools and methodologies to transform client requirements and future aspirations into actionable plans for secure and efficient solutions. Innovation is key; you will explore new methodologies, move beyond outdated practices, and align with industry advancements. Your leadership will guide the team through a comprehensive approach to system design, offering alternatives and customizing solutions to balance security with mission objectives.
Your responsibilities will include applying your systems engineering expertise to analyze and allocate requirements, assess architecture and design, evaluate technologies, and develop metrics. You will also provide operational support, including testing tools in real-world environments and coordinating with vendors and relevant personnel to resolve issues. Your role will involve developing and applying advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to tackle complex project requirements and technical specifications for software development initiatives, as well as planning and directing full lifecycle projects or significant phases of highly visible technical solution programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, test engineering, software development lifecycles, or system design and administration.
- Familiarity with mobile or wireless technologies and networks.
- Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders across various organizations.
- Understanding of software vulnerabilities, exploits, and cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Android, iOS, or Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in tools such as KaliLinux, Wireshark, IDApro, or Docker.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
- Experience in software development and code review processes.
- Insight into the mission, vision, goals, and values of the intelligence community (IC).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Full-time and part-time employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible for our benefit programs.
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
Work Model:
Our people-first culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remotely. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If listed as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required for the role.
