Your Role:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer within our team, you will deliver essential cybersecurity engineering services that align with our client's objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with diverse teams to determine the optimal combination of tools and methodologies to translate client requirements into actionable plans for secure and effective solutions.
  • Exploring innovative techniques and moving beyond traditional models to align with industry advancements.
  • Guiding the team through a methodical approach to system design, offering alternatives and tailoring solutions to balance security with mission objectives.
  • Utilizing your systems engineering expertise for requirements analysis, architecture design, technology evaluation, and metrics development.
  • Providing operational support, including testing tools in real-world environments and coordinating with vendors and relevant personnel to resolve issues.

In this role, you will apply advanced methods and research techniques to address complex project requirements and technical specifications, overseeing full life cycle projects or significant phases of high-visibility technical solution programs.

This is an opportunity to enhance the security landscape of the Intelligence Community (IC). Your technical skills will be crucial in assisting clients to navigate their most challenging obstacles by integrating secure practices, while also expanding your own skill set.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, test engineering, software development lifecycles, or system design and administration.
  • Familiarity with mobile or wireless technologies and networks.
  • Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Understanding of software vulnerabilities, exploits, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • A high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Android, iOS, or Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in tools such as KaliLinux, Wireshark, IDApro, or Docker.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Background in software development and code review.
  • Familiarity with the mission, vision, goals, and values of the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Clearance Requirements:


Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.


Work Environment:


Our culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.

If this position is onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required for the role.
