Job Title: Field Sales Representative

At Traeger Wood Pellet Grills, we're on a mission to revolutionize outdoor cooking. As a Field Sales Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your primary focus will be on building meaningful relationships with key retailers, creating a strong presence on the shop floor, and owning the sales experience at each of your assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management and Sales Excellence: Lead and execute marketplace strategies aligned with Traeger's commercial strategy and brand values. Build relationships with existing dealers, including regular visits to their stores, and plan, forecast, and land financial targets on an annual and quarterly basis.
  • Training, Demonstrations & Events: Train shop employees on grills, techniques, merchandising best practices, and how to sell, service, and represent Traeger at retail. Prepare and deliver multiple kinds of events to fuel the Traeger brand, including weekend and event activation.
  • Brand Elevation, Merchandising, Fixtures & POP: Work with your Team Manager and key accounts to develop marketing and coop plans to enhance the Traeger brand experience at retail. Become a merchandising expert, use provided POP and Fixtures, and define the Traeger Experience in your doors.
  • Marketplace Development & Admin: Keep pulse on local consumer and competitor trends, and leverage insights to identify incremental distribution opportunities and new storytelling angles. Plan out work, including office time to appropriately manage business systems and CRM resources on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience in account management or sales
  • Bachelor's degree or similar B2B regional/national sales, account management, and marketing experience
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Salesforce experience is preferred, or similar CRM experience
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets
  • MS Office Proficiency
  • Detailed oriented with a high level of organization
