Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and direct the work of maintenance team members, including delegating tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop and implement budgets for regular repair and maintenance, as well as capital expenses.
  • Inspect work performed by maintenance team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, clients, and team members, responding promptly to questions and concerns.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in property management maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Maintenance Supervisor or equivalent experience preferred.
  • EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
