Radiology Services Supervisor

The Radiology Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising licensed technologists providing diagnostic and patient care services. This role involves monitoring staff utilization and productivity, reviewing test results to ensure appropriate application of equipment and imaging systems, and overseeing operations of radiology services to ensure adherence to productivity and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have nine years of related experience, education, or training, or a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related area, plus five years of relevant experience or training. A licensed technologist in a radiology modality, such as Radiology, Sonography, Mammography, or other, is also required.
The Radiology Services Supervisor will participate in quality improvement initiatives, recommend improvements to departmental procedures and policies, and train radiology technologists on new techniques, systems, operations, and regulations. This role will also involve mentoring staff in meeting professional goals and developing growth areas, consulting with radiology leaders on developing strategies for performance improvement, and assisting management in coordinating staff development, training, and competency assessment.
The successful candidate will have experience with subject matter knowledge of a radiology modality, with the ability to apply principles to an acute care setting to ensure operations meet regulatory standards. ACLS/BLS certification and one year of supervisory experience are preferred.
