A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the healthcare sector. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be part of a reputable organization with opportunities for professional advancement.

Position Overview:

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The hourly wage for this role is $30.41.
  • Comprehensive benefits are available to full-time staff after a specified period of employment.
  • A 401(k) plan with employer matching is offered to full-time employees after completing one year of service.
Key Highlights:
  • This role is a contractual position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on attendance, performance, and organizational needs.
  • The position requires part-time availability, starting at 20 hours per week, with potential for rotation to nearby facilities and working alternating weekends.
  • Operational hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Shifts will include 3-4 days during the week and every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care that includes accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health issues, health counseling, and planning for patient care.
  • Administer vaccinations and injections, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and TB, while providing evidence-based counseling and education to patients and guardians.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Evaluate patients during the intake process.
  • Measure vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
  • Conduct Point of Care testing, including COVID testing.
  • Manage patient registration and intake, assist with waiting room operations, and fulfill other duties to enhance patient experience.
  • Order necessary equipment and prepare the clinic to ensure optimal patient interactions.
  • Contribute to our mission of supporting individuals on their journey to improved health through exceptional patient-focused services.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record documentation.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and conduct Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Must pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when required by protocol.
  • Active and in good standing as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Attendance is essential during the initial training period.
