Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Client's IMPACT system. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of database structures and be proficient in executing SQL queries.

Profile Summary:
The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of Fixed Income products, the trade life cycle, and compliance-related processes. Proven hands-on experience with Client platforms, particularly IMPACT, is essential. The role involves delivering and supporting technically intricate solutions and performing system integration tasks for various projects.

Collaboration with business product owners is key to understanding objectives and providing insightful solutions and recommendations during the design phase.

The focus will be on applications tailored to the Capital Markets technology framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Below is a summary of the primary functions associated with this role. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

  • Support daily operations, conduct analysis, and design technical specifications for applications in Fixed Income, Credit, Risk, and integration tools such as MuleSoft and MQ Series.

Expertise in the entire trading life cycle, both pre and post-trade, is required, including experience with electronic trading platforms, order management, clearing, settlement, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.

The ability to break down tasks into manageable scopes is essential.

  • Lead and engage as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with the Product Owner's acceptance criteria and adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee and execute comprehensive unit testing for user stories completed during the current sprint, driving automation of unit testing through DevSecOps practices.
  • Work within a feature team framework, providing guidance to scrum teams and engineering functions, analyzing features, and facilitating the breakdown into user stories.
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders from the design initiation phase, responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Qualifications:
The following qualifications are necessary for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of ten years of experience as a developer, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in problem-solving in straightforward situations by analyzing potential solutions using experience and innovative thinking.
  • Experience in Investment Technology and Capital Markets Technology with a focus on IT Solution Delivery.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis/Mining (R, Python), Business Intelligence tools (Qlikview, Tableau, MSPowerBI), and distributed technologies (e.g., J2EE, .Net, Middleware, MuleSoft/MQ Series).
  • Familiarity with database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, SnowFlake, PostgreSQL, and Hadoop.
  • Experience supporting the Capital Markets Regulatory Environment (SEC, Client, CFTC, NFA, FED).
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt new perspectives.
