Job Overview:
The application team is tasked with the design, development, and enhancement of applications that support the Wealth Management sector. This role is designated for a Business Analyst who will assess potential solutions while striving to connect various departments, enhancing technical efficiency and productivity for a global data strategy related to critical finance and management reporting applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a solid understanding of Data Models.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore resources and leads.
- Develop in-house knowledge of the existing data model in Private Banking.
- Assist onshore leads in managing various technical projects in collaboration with offshore teams.
- Engage with stakeholders across business units such as sales, finance, banking, and compliance to create necessary analyses and documentation collaboratively.
- Continuously evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements while maintaining system processes, including delivering monthly status reports to relevant parties.
- Author and update both internal and external documentation, formally initiating and delivering requirements.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong understanding of Hive SQL and Data Models.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a related field.
- Ability to create detailed business analyses outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding of records databases and other technologies.
- Able to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
- Proven track record of developing innovative and impactful systems solutions.
- Highly proficient in technical writing.
- Desirable: Understanding of data warehousing, including Extract, Transform, and Load processes.
