Overview:
A seasoned Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Client's IMPACT system is sought. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of database architecture and be proficient in executing SQL queries.

Profile Summary:
Possessing comprehensive knowledge of Fixed Income products, trade life cycle, and compliance-related activities, the candidate will have hands-on experience with Client platforms, particularly IMPACT. The role involves delivering and supporting technically intricate solutions while performing system integration tasks for various projects.

Engagement with business product owners is crucial to grasp the end objectives and provide insightful solutions and recommendations throughout the design phase.

The focus will be on applications tailored to the Capital Markets technology platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily support, analysis, and technical design of applications within Fixed Income, Credit, Risk, and integration tools such as MuleSoft, MQ Series, or other event-driven messaging systems to customize or generate products.

Domain expertise encompasses the entire trading life cycle, both pre and post-trade, including trading on electronic platforms, order and execution management, clearing and settlement, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.

The ability to decompose work into manageable and clear scopes is essential.

  • Lead and engage as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in alignment with the Product Owner's acceptance criteria and adherence to Enterprise Technology standards and industry best practices.
  • Manage and execute comprehensive unit testing associated with user stories completed during the current sprint. Drive efforts to automate unit testing utilizing DevSecOps practices and tools integrated into the software development pipeline.
  • Collaborate within a feature team framework, providing oversight to scrum teams and engineering functions. As a member of this servant-lead team, analyze features and facilitate decomposition to user story level using experience, judgment, and precedents to address product challenges requiring software solutions.
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders from the initiation of the design process, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality software that meets business objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, along with ten years of experience as a developer, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in straightforward situations, utilizing experience, judgment, innovative thinking, and precedents.
  • Experience in Investment Technology and Capital Markets Technology, along with IT Solution Delivery.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and logically.
  • Demonstrable experience working within an Agile delivery methodology.

Additional Skills:
  • Advanced analytical skills with the capability to resolve complex technical and business challenges.
  • Familiarity with three or more of the following: Data Analysis/Mining (R, Python), Business Intelligence (Qlikview, Tableau, MSPowerBI), Distributed systems (e.g., J2EE, .Net, Middleware, MuleSoft/MQ Series, WebServices, Javascript), and Database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, SnowFlake, PostgreSQL, Hadoop.
Experience in supporting the Capital Markets Regulatory Environment is a plus, along with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders to adopt new perspectives.
