Sales Business Development Manager

The Difference Card is seeking a highly skilled Sales Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating broker distribution networks to promote our Difference Card product suite and help employers reduce their health insurance spend while maintaining great benefits for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential strategic broker partners
- Sell to customers in the 50-500 employee range through broker partners
- Accountable for prospect from presale through implementation
- Provide necessary broker support for successful education and implementation of the Difference Card
- Develop and maintain key internal relationships
- Understand customer needs and provide value-added consultation
- Present a positive image of the Difference Card in the marketplace
- Understand the importance of Wellness and its pivotal role in the employee benefits arena
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- State Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within three months
- Two years' experience in the broker/employer group benefits industry
- Excellent public speaking skills with ability to present to business decision makers, brokers, and employees
- Superior presentation skills in person and virtual capacity, experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce
- History of new business sales success
- Strong network of group health insurance brokers and consultants
