Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary II to join our team at the Langone Orthopedic Center.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and organize files for the area, ensuring accurate and timely retrieval.




  • Provide basic front-desk support for clinical intake operations, including greeting patients and answering calls.




  • Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-ups, as well as preparing and sending correspondence.




  • Perform other related duties as needed, including maintaining supplies and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.




  • May assist with training less senior staff members in completing intake-related duties.




Requirements:


  • High School diploma required




  • Three years of relevant medical clerical experience




  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy preferred




  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
