Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Officer to join our team on board our cruise ships. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to our guests and crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective patient care, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering tests and medications as needed
- Provide emergency medical care, including responding to medical emergencies and performing life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and techniques
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical licensure and board certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in emergency medicine, critical care, or other high-acuity settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
