Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to join our team at our tax credit property. As a successful Property Manager, your goals are to maintain high occupancy rates, maximize profitability, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both the property owner and tenant.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide guidance to team members to ensure they understand and comply with tax credit regulations.
- Train team members on tax credit requirements, procedures, and best practices.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure all aspects of tax credit compliance are being addressed.
- Conduct regular team meetings.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support as needed.
- Oversee the financial operations of the property, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Monitor and analyze the property's financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with vendors and contractors to negotiate contracts and pricing for services.
- Prepare financial statements and reporting to owners and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven working experience in property management (Tax Credit).
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Property Management or Real Estate License preferred.
- Deep understanding of fair housing laws and leasing practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Experience with property management software preferred (One Site).
