Fannie Mae, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Multifamily Credit Risk Internal Auditor Lead Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's risk management strategy.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice on examining and analyzing accounting and operational records, determining financial status, efficiency, and effectiveness of operating and reporting procedures. They will lead internal audits and reviews across Fannie Mae's Multifamily division, applying technical knowledge and expertise in credit risk, commercial mortgage, and fraud risk management.

In this role, you will have the flexibility to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with modeling and technology audit partners to define project scope and develop an integrated testing strategy. You will also identify opportunities to utilize data analytics and emerging technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness in audits through data-driven insights and full population testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, audit, or control roles, with experience in public accounting and knowledge of credit risk management, commercial real estate, and fraud risk. A CPA, CISA, or CIA certification is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
