Senior Lifestyle Program Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lifestyle Program Director to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Plan, schedule, and lead recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Budget Management: Successfully work within budgetary guidelines to ensure that programs are delivered within allocated resources.
- Special Events: Plan and implement special events that promote socialization, engagement, and community building.
- Volunteer Management: Develop and implement a volunteer program that includes recruitment, training, and recognition.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, supervise, direct, and evaluate the performance of Lifestyle program associates.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that therapeutic recreation programming meets all state, federal, and other regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, family members, and visitors.
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university, or satisfactory completion of two years of college with a major in recreation, occupational therapy, gerontology, or a related field.
- Experience: Two years of full-time experience in the recreation field with an adult population, preferably in an environment focused on dementia care.
- Certifications: NCCP Certification preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with basic typing skills and computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and creative software.
