Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process for all Resident Care Associates, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of Resident Care Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional care and service to our residents.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director to design and implement engaging programs and activities that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our memory care programs and services meet all state regulations and company standards, maintaining a high level of quality and care.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to Resident Care Associates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and support.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director to manage the budget for memory care programs and services, ensuring effective use of resources and staying within budgetary guidelines.
- Education and Experience: A degree in social work, nursing, psychology, gerontology, or a related field, or at least 5 years of direct dementia-related resident experience.
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience in supervising and mentoring a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases, with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and creative software.
- Passion and Commitment: A genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life, with a commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
