We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifestyle Director to join our team at Mayflower Place Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and lead recreational programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Manage the Lifestyle budget, ensuring that programs are delivered within budgetary guidelines.
- Develop and implement special events that promote socialization and community engagement.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of Lifestyle program associates.
- Ensure that therapeutic recreation programming meets all state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for our residents.
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Occupational Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recreation or a related field, preferably in a senior living setting.
- NCCP Certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Basic typing skills and computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, and Publisher.
