Role Responsibilities

As the Corrections Substance Use Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting inmates at the Licking County Justice Center who are grappling with substance use issues. Collaborating with Jail Administration, Social Workers, and community professionals, you will conduct screenings, assessments, and provide interventions to address addiction challenges.

Your duties will include:

  • Facilitating group sessions
  • Assisting in reentry planning
  • Connecting individuals with essential services upon release to promote successful rehabilitation and reduce recidivism

This role requires a compassionate and proactive approach to help individuals navigate the complexities of substance use disorders. Your commitment to maintaining reliable transportation and linking clients to community resources will be essential for effective care management.
