Key Responsibilities

As the Corrections Substance Use Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting inmates at the Licking County Justice Center who are facing substance use challenges. Collaborating with Jail Administration, Social Workers, the courts, probation officers, and community professionals, you will conduct screenings, assessments, and provide interventions to address addiction issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating group sessions
  • Assisting in reentry plans
  • Connecting individuals with essential services upon release to promote successful rehabilitation and reduce recidivism

This role requires a compassionate and proactive approach to help individuals navigate the complexities of substance use disorders. Reliable transportation and the ability to link individuals to community resources are essential for effective care management.
