Objective

The Healthcare Operations Manager (HOM) II plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth operation of the clinic. Key responsibilities encompass the formulation of clinic schedules, conducting staff meetings, overseeing annual financial plans, recruiting and training team members, and providing essential support to business operations. The HOM II also collaborates with external agencies and organizations in accordance with Neighborcare Health's established contracts and agreements. They embody the values of NCH, representing the organization positively and collaboratively, and may be called upon to attend meetings and events at the request of external partners, both during and outside of standard business hours. A proactive and cooperative approach to partnerships is essential for nurturing and enhancing these professional relationships.

In this role, you will:

Core Responsibilities

Administrative Duties
  • Oversee, maintain, and coordinate clinic schedules to accommodate staff absences, meetings, and ensure sufficient clinic coverage.
  • Identify and address issues and concerns, escalating to appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Develop and implement organizational and strategic objectives along with key performance indicators.
  • Disseminate organizational information to staff members.
  • Manage the establishment, maintenance, and oversight of administrative support systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to clinic goals and deadlines.
Operational Oversight
  • Plan and facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and team-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate community outreach efforts and local partnerships.
  • Engage in NeighborCare leadership meetings and leadership development activities.
  • Manage and respond to variations in patient access, demand, and satisfaction.
  • Integrate service lines within the clinic to meet patient needs and enhance operational efficiency.
Financial Oversight
  • Plan, monitor, and manage annual financial budgets.
  • Communicate productivity metrics to providers in collaboration with the clinical site director.
Team Management
  • Recruit, train, and orient both direct and indirect reports on clinical operations and functions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
  • Assist the team in addressing individual performance challenges, developing improvement plans, and coordinating with the HR team as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or a High School Diploma/GED with five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Two years of direct supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or health sciences.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare administration/practice management and leadership team supervision.
  • Experience in non-profit organization administration.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust assignments as necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with medical and/or dental terminology.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Knowledge of insurance providers and billing processes.

Compensation
  • The salary range for this position is a minimum of $79,869.80 to a maximum of $110,344.00.
  • Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience.
