Position Overview: Join Moxion Power Co. as a Sustainability and Safety Specialist dedicated to enhancing our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and refining EHS protocols to ensure compliance with various regulations while fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of EHS for our manufacturing facility.
  • Analyze incident trends and implement risk assessment strategies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents using root cause analysis to develop preventative measures that address contributing factors.
  • Ensure effective application of EHS Management System elements across Operations and Engineering teams.
  • Create and update procedures, inspections, training programs, and reports as necessary.
  • Review and provide feedback on equipment and facility designs to ensure compliance with safety standards, including Industrial Hygiene and Fire Safety.
  • Lead safety committees, collaborating with operations, engineering, and leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local EHS regulations, along with internal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in environmental, health, or safety roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Physical Sciences, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing EHS programs and training personnel at all levels.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards, including International Building and Fire Codes.
  • Strong understanding of process design and safety principles.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office or Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
