SwimRVA is seeking a dedicated Aquatic Safety Specialist who is committed to ensuring the safety of all individuals in our facilities while working collaboratively within a team. As an Aquatic Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our premier events and community swim initiatives, contributing to the overall wellness of our community. The ideal candidate will apply their expertise and certifications to deliver exceptional service to all visitors of SwimRVA facilities. Additionally, this role includes training in general facility management, offering a pathway for career progression in aquatic safety and facility operations. Key Responsibilities of the Aquatic Safety Specialist:

  • Ensure the safety of all patrons, guests, and staff throughout the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the facility.
  • Support general facility operations.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of major events.
Qualifications:
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is preferred or willingness to obtain through SwimRVA Safety School.
