Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery and execution of our professional services related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute office assignments and manage time and expenses effectively.
- Conduct in-field installation validation and prepare field observation reports and meeting notes.
- Perform functional performance testing, including on-site and factory witness testing.
- Draft comprehensive reports and evaluate design documentation.
- Lead Cx meetings and assist construction teams in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Interpret contract documents to identify scope gaps and maximize client value while minimizing risks.

Administrative Duties:
- Support the team leader in coordinating weekly staff schedules.
- Mentor team members on documentation and field procedures.
- Participate in company-wide safety and training programs.
- Foster relationships with existing clients to support revenue and quality assurance goals.

Travel Requirements:
The candidate must be willing to travel to various job sites within the designated region.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HVACR, mechanical or electrical engineering, or construction management; or an associate degree in engineering technology or related field with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years in a related field or 3 years in the commissioning industry.
- At least 5 years of experience managing interconnected building systems, including pumps, fans, motors, and building automation systems.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry documents.
- Proven problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Involvement in trade associations.
- Relevant certifications such as EIT, ACP, CEM, or similar.
- OSHA 30 or other safety certifications.
- Familiarity with building information modeling.
