Position Overview: Flooring Operations Manager

  • Conduct detailed project take-offs.
  • Procure essential materials for project execution.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of installation teams.
  • Ensure effective communication with site supervisors and contractors.
  • Oversee the management of project materials and logistics.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve optimal performance.
  • Plan and implement projects from inception to completion, adhering to established timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and financial estimates.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate both internal resources and external suppliers for successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage alterations to project scope, timelines, and budgets as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within the flooring, cabinetry, and countertop sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Experience with flooring materials, particularly marble and granite.
