Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part Time Floor Leader to join our team at Lush Handmade Cosmetics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Experience:
    • Drive sales by utilizing sales metrics and providing effective coaching and feedback to the sales team.
    • Lead by example in delivering a world-class customer experience, including product demonstrations and consultations.
    • Build brand awareness and educate customers on Lush values and products.
    • Make informed product recommendations to customers based on their needs.
  • Team Involvement:
    • Train and coach sales associates on effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
    • Encourage open communication and foster a sense of belonging among team members.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Manage cash handling, including customer transactions and opening/closing the register.
    • Lead by example in terms of attendance and punctuality, and encourage the same from all employees.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
    • Support management with inventory tasks and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales, cash handling, and supervisory experience.
    • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
  • Experience analyzing sales metrics.
  • Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.

Compensation:

$18.70-$18.70 USD
