Job OverviewAerospace Systems Engineer

Position Summary

The primary objective of this position is to provide support for both unmanned and manned aircraft systems, along with optionally piloted aircraft and unmanned ground vehicles. The ideal candidate will engage in all stages of the project lifecycle, including definition, design, and testing phases. This encompasses the analysis of customer and stakeholder needs, the creation of system architecture for both new and existing platforms, conducting trade studies, and formulating test plans and reports.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating customer and stakeholder requirements, breaking down requirements, deriving specifications, and distributing requirements across system and subsystem components.
  • Designing system architecture for both new and existing systems.
  • Executing trade studies and performing design research to identify optimal requirements and system architecture.
  • Creating test plans and documentation.
  • Formulating test cases based on requirement specifications.
  • Developing definitions for system and subsystem interfaces, along with system schematics and design documentation.
  • Leading and conducting testing as necessary.
  • Adhering to structured and defined development methodologies.
  • Collaborating with the Software Engineering Team to establish software system requirements and testing criteria.
  • Participating in the planning, design, testing, and deployment of moderately complex engineered systems and software to ensure alignment with functional specifications and customer expectations.
