Job Overview:
As a Facility Engineer, you will be tasked with the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of all operational systems within the facility. This role is primarily a day shift position from Tuesday to Saturday, 06:00 to 14:30 (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM).

Key Responsibilities:

Your essential duties will include:

  • Conducting all preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on the building's mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of the facility's mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection, and security systems to ensure optimal functionality and to address any irregularities.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks, which encompass lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and replacement of consumable components such as filters and indicator lights.
  • Managing systems that include air handling units, re-circulating air systems, water pumping systems, cooling plants, and plumbing components.
  • Responding promptly to tenant concerns regarding safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental issues through direct interaction and work order systems.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records, with familiarity in preventative maintenance and work order software systems.
  • Coordinating with contractors, tenants, and management for work orders requiring external contractor involvement, while keeping detailed logs of work order activities.
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed to safeguard tenant safety and maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
  • Adhering to all established operating procedures associated with the facility.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned, while passing background checks and drug screenings.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building operations engineering.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and make informed decisions.
  • General computer proficiency.
  • Any necessary or required licenses.

Working Environment:
Normal working conditions are expected, with no significant adverse elements.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with the actual salary determined based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, education, and applicable licenses or certifications. In addition to the base salary, a competitive benefits package is offered, and the position may qualify for additional compensation such as discretionary bonuses and other incentives.
