Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across multiple departments
  • Examine production metrics
  • Conduct root cause investigations
  • Halt production for critical product issues
  • Oversee quality control processes
  • Generate reports on nonconformance and quality patterns
  • Identify crucial points within the Value Stream
  • Assist in audits with Defense and Aerospace Inspectors
  • Review and sanction modifications to quality documentation
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience in AS9145
  • Minimum of 4 years in a Quality Engineering role
  • Familiarity with APQP, PFMEAs, FMEAs, GD&T
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Lean Principles
  • ASQC Quality Engineer Certification
  • Experience with Minitab software

Work Environment:

  • Typical office setting

  • Potential exposure to atypical environmental conditions
  • Standing: 10%
