Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure software meets high standards before release.
- Oversee testing processes, collaborate with teams, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to ensure quality across various products.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide feedback early in the development process.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure that all issues are resolved before release.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
- Ensure product quality meets defined standards and contribute to release readiness assessments.
- Identify areas for QA process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or equivalent years of experience.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Software QA Engineer.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripted languages.
- Experience with Mobile App testing of iOS and Android applications.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Unix/Linux, and Jenkins.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client, and others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of version control systems and issue tracking tools.
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions.
- A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues.
