Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Administrator to join our team at Hearthstone Lodge Senior Living. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, working closely with the Division Director to achieve the highest possible rental income, occupancy, and the lowest possible property expenses.
The successful candidate will be proficient in software used in the management of the community, ensure accurate and prompt collection of income and deposits, and oversee the distribution of legal documents as required. They will also be responsible for reviewing rental and credit applications, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and facilitating ongoing training for the onsite team.
Key Responsibilities- Community Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
- Income and Deposits: Ensure accurate and prompt collection of income and deposits, maintaining a high level of financial accuracy and transparency.
- Legal Documents: Oversee the distribution of legal documents as required, including 3-Day Notices and 30-Day Notices, in collaboration with the Division Director.
- Rental and Credit Applications: Review and approve rental and credit applications, working closely with the Division Director to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Onsite Team Training: Facilitate ongoing training for the onsite team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Community Maintenance: Ensure a high overall common area maintenance and property curb appeal, fostering a sense of pride and ownership among residents and tenants.
- Resident Support: Resolve resident problems expeditiously, escalating to the Division Director when necessary, to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.
- 3 years of experience working with the senior population.
- 3 years of experience in residential property management.
- 3 years of experience in leasing, marketing, and/or sales.
- 1 year of experience in people management and leadership.
- Customer service skills.
- Yardi experience is preferred.
- Valid California driver's license.
