Position Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing incoming communications from patients and facilitating appointment scheduling with healthcare providers at FriendHealth.

This role requires a commitment to a full-time schedule, which may include varied hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
- Familiarity with Centricity is advantageous.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in managing sensitive situations with care.
- Proven judgment and accountability in decision-making.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Core Responsibilities
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Proficient use of various computer systems, including Centricity.
- Accurate and swift data entry and retrieval within an automated scheduling system, ensuring quality control and error resolution.
- Manage call durations in accordance with established guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate a diverse range of calls, including conflict resolution with professionalism and respect.
- Respond to incoming patient inquiries and take appropriate actions.
- Address patient appointment issues by identifying concerns, researching solutions, and implementing resolutions, while escalating unresolved matters as necessary.
- Maintain the call center database through precise information entry.
- Uphold patient satisfaction metrics in alignment with organizational standards.

Work Environment
This role is situated within a call center setting.
