Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents as needed.
- Assist with mobility and ambulation, ensuring residents are safe and comfortable.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including pain, discomfort, or distress.
- Assist with medication administration, as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Participate in resident care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized care is provided.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including progress notes and medication records.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional bending and stooping. The ability to reach above shoulder level and crouch is also required.
