Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Equipment Technician to join our team at FedEx Freight. As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
  • Support shop operations by setting up jobs, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
  • Prepare electronic and manual records and reports.
  • Assist with safety inspections and document work.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift components weighing approximately 110 pounds with assistance.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to enter and exit driver's compartment safely.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas.
  • Considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise.
  • Variation in working hours due to operational needs.

The estimated salary for this role is $25.46 per hour. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
