Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician Specialist to join our team at Leidos. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent technical skills and a strong customer focus.

About the Role

The Field Service Technician Specialist will be responsible for performing on-site installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, as you will need to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. You must also be able to lift and move heavy equipment safely, and work in various environments, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements
  • Related trade experience or military training (electrical, electronic, mechanical)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable individual
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 per year, based on location and experience.
