About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Ware Industries, Inc. and develop key opportunities in our New York territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and grow key relationships with customers and prospective customers, including drywall subcontractors, project engineers, and architects, to drive market share and profitable revenue growth in keeping with Company objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business growth and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of success selling construction or related building products to contractors, distributors, architects, and engineers in a fast-paced, results-driven, just-in-time service environment.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, architectural specifications/design, structural engineering, and construction management strongly preferred.
  • Success selling cold-formed steel highly desirable.
  • A voracious competitive spirit, strategic mindset, the ability to engage and positively impact individuals/groups, and superior communications/presentation skills.
  • Strong service orientation and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel extensively daily and some overnight travel required; must have a valid and clean driver's license.
