Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the direct sale of new, used, and rental of heavy construction equipment to assigned accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships to drive long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training, and presentations to customers and prospects.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven outside sales experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction and industrial equipment operation and applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CRM systems.
- Ability to operate, demonstrate, and climb on equipment to sell to customers.
- Ability to travel by air to attend sales-related events and conferences.
- Ability to drive a vehicle and cover a designated territory.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in construction site environments and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Valid Driver's License.
