Job Summary:

Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Revenue Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue process team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze physician and nursing documentation to determine charges for services.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement in physician and nursing documentation to optimize department revenue.
  • Work closely with the business office and health information management to resolve claims issues related to charging and modifier assignment.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of compliance relating to charging and work closely with colleagues to identify process improvements.
  • Effectively use and monitor electronic tools to determine appropriate charges and utilize resources available appropriately.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards, and complete required education assignments annually.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in charging, coding, or billing required.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
