Job Title: Medical Claims Resolution Specialist

Job Summary:

Southeastern Retina Associates PC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving error, rejected, and delinquent claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and research delinquent claims to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Process paper claims, including providing additional documentation as required by carriers.
  • Enter secondary claims for carriers requiring online submission.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, front desk staff, and clinical staff.
  • Process patient credit card payments over the phone.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years' experience in a medical office with knowledge of medical reimbursement and coding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and colleagues.

Working Conditions:

The Medical Claims Resolution Specialist will work in an office environment with frequent contact with staff members, physicians, and the public. The noise level is usually moderate, and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
