Position Overview

The FFIO Technology team is seeking a seasoned Angular Developer to contribute to the development of advanced pricing platforms in the cloud. This role is part of a significant initiative aimed at modernizing and enhancing pricing functionalities. The position involves hands-on development and offers opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship for junior team members. As a developer focused on user experience, you will play a key role in defining UX standards and developing a shared component library for FFIO.



Required Expertise and Skills
  • A robust foundation in software engineering, including a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Angular 16+ framework and Single Page Applications (SPA).
  • Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms, along with containerization technologies like ECS and Docker.
  • Experience in building and deploying cloud-enabled applications using 12-factor design principles.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience in creating shareable web components and documenting them using Storybook is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Micro Frontend architecture is a plus.
  • Ability to integrate with microservices and orchestration systems.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively in both small agile teams and independently, with a strong user-centric focus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

About the Team

Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) offers accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and various retail and institutional investment products. These services encompass calculating and distributing NAVs, preparing fund financial statements, monitoring fund trades, and managing fund liquidity.
