Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Angular Developer with a robust background in testing methodologies. This role involves hands-on development and the provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing user experience and will play a pivotal role in the creation of a shared component library.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management to gather requirements, break down epics into actionable stories, and deliver solutions that align with customer expectations.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud-based systems that support our long-term strategic goals.
- Provide exceptional support, including on-call assistance as required.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers to foster their professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- A strong foundation in software engineering, evidenced by a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Angular 16+ framework and single-page application (SPA) development.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization technologies including ECS and Docker.
- Experience in building and deploying cloud-enabled applications using 12-factor design principles.
- Knowledge of continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and orchestration.
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

The Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) team provides essential accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity's mutual funds and other investment products. This includes a wide range of services from calculating NAVs to managing fund liquidity.
