Antonio Sofo & Son stands as one of the premier family-owned wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the United States. We are currently seeking a dedicated Field Sales Account Executive for our Houston, TX sales territory to become an integral part of our Sales Team. In this role, you will engage with both new and existing clients, manage accounts, and deliver outstanding service to restaurant operators. This position involves outside sales, focusing on the Houston area and its neighboring regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new connections and enhance existing relationships with restaurant owners and managers in the greater Houston area.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for clients.
  • Develop business strategies tailored to customer needs and sales targets.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the restaurant sector, possibly as a current pizza operator, or previous roles such as server or bartender during college, or a background in business or restaurant management with a focus on sales/marketing, or 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
  • Analytical skills to formulate and implement business plans aimed at driving sales growth.
  • Self-driven to achieve sales objectives.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • A passion for food and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, a reliable vehicle, and appropriate auto insurance.
