Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Account Executive is tasked with fostering growth and nurturing our client accounts. Our clientele includes distributors, resellers, and installation experts. This role is pivotal in building relationships, delivering product information, securing sales prospects, and driving revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish new client relationships and cultivate ongoing strategic partnerships; Maintain productive interactions with current clients and engage them regularly, especially during new product launches; Regularly assess and confirm clients' needs.
  • Assist in identifying avenues to enhance product revenue.
  • Support efforts to achieve broader market penetration.
  • Connect with potential clients through sales calls, emails, and direct mail, while building an effective network and rapport with prospects.
  • Deliver pre-sale and post-sale support that enhances the customer experience, including providing comprehensive company and product information, sales quotes, samples, and marketing materials; Process sales orders and new account applications, and assist clients with technical inquiries.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the complete range of products and services; Engage with security system technologies and their applications through ongoing training and research.
  • Stay informed about market trends and product developments.
  • Consistently meet or surpass assigned sales targets.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities are essential.
  • Capability to overcome sales challenges through innovative and flexible strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of business information.
  • Timely and effective response to customer inquiries.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset are advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a proven history of selling and delivering solutions.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for success.
  • Commitment to teamwork and growth.
  • Self-discipline and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to train new sales associates and maintain a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Physical capability to lift and move products and related office items.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in sales or related fields.
  • Experience in the security system industry is highly desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT/Network, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary plus commission structure.
