The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is in search of a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services Portfolio. This position requires the acquisition of technical proficiency to support IT infrastructures, systems, and strategic initiatives. The role is essential for the successful execution of FBI missions and demands specialized technical knowledge in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This methodology will be utilized to synchronize Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective prioritization of tasks and successful outcomes. Experience with SAFe implementation is critical to modernizing and enhancing the capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

The ASTRA team is tasked with maintaining the application that facilitates source and threat review. The Software Developer will be instrumental in supporting and sustaining this application, leveraging technologies such as ElasticSearch, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services. As a senior member of the team, the Software Developer will serve as a technical authority with a comprehensive understanding of the business application. They will also take on project leadership responsibilities, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and overseeing the performance of software developers. The Software Developer will work closely with clients and technical personnel to address software issues and integrate feedback for software enhancements. Additionally, involvement in the design phase of projects and contribution to the development of software user manuals may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the Source and Threat Review Analytics (ASTRA) application.
  • Utilize ElasticSearch, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services.
  • Act as a technical authority with a comprehensive understanding of the business application.
  • Lead projects by providing guidance, assigning tasks, and monitoring the performance of software developers.
  • Collaborate with clients and technical staff to resolve software issues and incorporate feedback for software modifications or enhancements.
  • Participate in the design phase of projects as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of software user manuals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Strong expertise in maintaining and utilizing ElasticSearch, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services.
  • Proven experience in leading software development projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active Top Secret clearance.
