Company and has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience from government contracts as well as internal investments in research and development projects.

This position is for a Senior Software Engineer to join the support the LRHW Software Team.

In this role you will provide key technical insight for the Launcher Software Team and ideally develop into the Launcher SW Lead.

Successful applicants will have strong Real Time Embedded Development experience with C++ experience, An active Secret Clearance is desired but not required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous embedded development and C++ experience

Agile development and processesDesired Skills:

  • Experience in leading software development team
  • Previous VxWorks experience
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent team orientation skills
  • Experience developing ground software for military systems
  • Full software development lifecycle experience

Strong knowledge of embedded software solutionsSecurity Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
