Position Overview:

As a Senior Systems and Software Validation Engineer at Genex Systems, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety, reliability, and quality of Ground Systems through comprehensive Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Execution of Test Plans:**
- Implement software and system test strategies to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.

2. **Metrics Generation:**
- Produce IV&V test metrics that provide insights into the performance and reliability of systems/software.

3. **Traceability Verification:**
- Confirm that test procedures are thoroughly aligned with specified requirements.

4. **Engineering Change Review:**
- Contribute to the integrated review of engineering modifications by providing cost, technical, and scheduling inputs.

5. **Test Development:**
- Create comprehensive test plans and procedures that encompass both hardware and software components, including internal and external interfaces.

6. **Reporting:**
- Develop detailed test and integration reports that include as-run procedures, test metrics, and fault impact analyses.

7. **Software Compatibility Assurance:**
- Ensure that both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and government-provided software meet specific operational requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.

8. **Database Compatibility Assessment:**
- Evaluate the compatibility of unique databases utilized by HOSC systems.

9. **Quality Evaluation:**
- Assess the overall quality of system/software products and ensure compliance with established development standards.

10. **System Analysis for Upgrades:**
- For enhancements to existing services and new systems, analyze, inspect, and validate that all system requirements and designs are executed as per specifications.

11. **Integration Testing:**
- Conduct thorough testing and integration of systems to confirm performance and functionality on operational platforms.

Qualifications:

- US Citizenship is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in Systems Engineering and/or Software Testing.
- Capability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
- Familiarity with International Space Station (ISS) and Space Launch System (SLS) systems.
