Job Description

This Full-time Supportive Services Specialist position is available at our Behavioral Health department in Seattle, WA. As an empowered staff member of Sea Mar's Behavioral Health program and Ernestine Anderson Place, Low Income Housing Institute in Seattle, you will participate in the design, implementation, and ongoing delivery of services.

  • Provide community and/or agency-based outreach and supportive case management services for consumers.
  • Depending on your degree, training, and the agency's need, responsibilities may include intake and assessment, treatment planning, clinical interventions, triage, staff trainings, peer support services, consumer advocacy, and coordination of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A good understanding of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span.
  • The ability to work with an inter-disciplinary care team, including medical providers, nursing staff, care coordinators, behavioral health, preventive health, and other support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships and professional rapport with patients and team members.
  • Good working knowledge and skills in using electronic health record platforms, external registries, and Microsoft Office software.
