About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions, and managing patient medical records. Roles in this position may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

Responsibilities:
• Applies knowledge and skills to activities that often vary from day to day
• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
• Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
• Solves routine problems on own
• Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Works with others as part of a team
• Assist physicians, as required, in coordination of care for patients
• Collaborates with Centralized Services to support patient needs
• Establishes and maintains relationships with service providers for patient's coordination of care
• Ensures work is being performed according to company policies, procedures, and standards
• Provides high-quality care and service excellence to our patients
• Performs other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
• Participates in a variety of department initiatives
• Ensures all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations are followed
• Follows proper reporting protocols for any compliance or incident reporting as needed
• Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
