**Job Summary**

Direct Counsel, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Law Attorney to join our team in the Portland, Oregon area.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional and/or litigation construction law, showcasing proficiency in drafting pleadings, participating in discovery and motion practice, assisting in arbitration and trial, and a deep understanding of construction contract review, drafting, and negotiation, including AIA forms.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Handle transactional and litigation aspects of construction law.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, including AIA forms.
  • Provide expertise in lien laws, bid protests, delay and impact claims, and governmental contracts.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and contribute to effective communication.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction law.
  • Strong academic credentials and professional references.
  • Excellent research, analysis, writing, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects and ability to work independently.
  • Oregon State Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity.

**Salary Information:** The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000.
