Job Overview

Verrill Dana is currently in search of a skilled Construction Litigation Associate to enhance our Litigation Practice Group. As a leading full-service law firm in New England, we are dedicated to attracting exceptional talent to our firm.

Our Construction Group is a vibrant team focused on providing efficient and cost-effective solutions for a diverse clientele, including owners, contractors, construction managers, sureties, subcontractors, and design professionals within the construction and design sectors. Our practice extends both regionally and nationally, and our attorneys are committed to collaborating closely with clients throughout the litigation journey to address intricate legal challenges while ensuring the highest standards of service.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction litigation and must be admitted to the Maine Bar or have the capacity to secure admission. Relocation to the area is necessary if applicable. Familiarity with drafting and negotiating construction and design/engineering contracts is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong research and writing abilities, alongside exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
