Candidate Profile

Proficiency in programming for data scraping, model development, and data warehousing (SQL, Python with Pandas, Excel with VBA).

Collaborate with the team to design and implement models in a high-reliability Python/Pandas/SQL environment.


Present data in clear and accessible formats to the team and work collaboratively to enhance data visualization and organization.


Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and swiftly transition between tasks to best support the team's current requirements.

Assist in the creation of regional basis models within North America and/or global models, including daily automation and scenario distributions.

Develop tools for option pricing and analysis for both the US and international markets.

Utilize a suite of models to assess and recommend trading strategies for all segments of UGCNA's business units.

Formulate trading strategies with a solid understanding of pricing and execution of various instruments in the Natural Gas Market.

Collaborate with the London and global analytics teams to manage reports and share data/analysis across platforms.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.


Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a programmer/analyst, demonstrating consistently strong performance with robust analytical and numerical skills.

Exceptional candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered, particularly those with relevant internship experience.

Experience in building and managing fundamental energy models and analytical tools. Proficiency in SQL and Python with Pandas.

Team Collaboration - Build effective relationships with colleagues within UGCNA and the Uniper Group. Provide constructive feedback and recognize the contributions of others.

Strong communication skills, particularly in a business context.
